      Week 2: News Writing and Reporting Skills

      • Techniques in effective news writing and field reporting. Fundamentals of constructing news stories.

       

      Week 3: Interviewing Techniques

      • Methods for conducting insightful interviews and gathering information.

       

      Week 4: Understanding Media Law

      • Exploration of legal aspects in communication and journalism, including issues of freedom of speech, defamation, and privacy rights.

       

      Week 5: Mastery of Digital Media Tools

      • Training in the use of current technologies for news collection, production, and distribution.

       

      Week 6: Research and Analytical Skills

      • Approaches to researching and analyzing news stories, including an introduction to data journalism.
